Found a pretty weird sort of ‘track’ of sculptures a few days ago, it runs through some green patches between Slesischen Tor and Gröbenufer, right across the road and under the S-Bahn.
As it turns out it was realised in 1987 and it’s called Menschenlandschaft Berlin, they put the sculptures there after a symposium for sculptors and connected them with a path (that runs right over the road).
Some of the sculptures are kind of funny, check out the Wikipage (I thought Dove Vai was the best of them – inserting the deeply private into the highly public).
And yes, graffitti artists like them too.
